for all the suggestions but turns out I found what I needed to do, odd solution considering I've re-installed several times. I have searched the net and found something you might read. You might also do as "Kid" says, run as admin.but it is little help if "Data files" not contain anything. Have you installed Steam in "Programfiles".it is a bit sad that Microsofts "security" many times prevent programs to work at all in this Dir, I would recommend to move steam to a ""Games/Steam dir outside of ""Programfiles"" Which will search for the files, and sort them.if this one don't find any then strange indeed. Normally should then the needed files be spotted at once.

You might also download BOSS, and run it.it will put up the right loadorder for your files. Perhaps try testing the mods first, see if they load them into your game? Try a simple mod. Also some require that you save your game when the mod is for the first time activated and reload this save in order to kickstart them. Also make sure that your Skyrim version meets the requirements as well.
Which mods did you try to install? Do they require SKSE or SkyUI to load? Make sure you have these if it is a requirement. But I guess this is all question of preference or if you are familiar with the mod manager. First off, I dont actually recommend using NMM, because it tends to make things difficult and I heard about bugs where it doesnt install stuff properly and doesnt load mods into the game at all.
